What is Technical Assistance?

Technical assistance is non-financial assistance provided by local or international specialists. It can take the form of sharing information and expertise, instruction, skills training, transmission of working knowledge, and consulting services and may also involve the transfer of technical data.

The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) awarded a grant to the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) to provide Small Business Technical Assistance in the District of Columbia. The program will allow experienced consultants and business owners to provide one on one counseling and help small businesses improve processes, sales, and marketing strategies.

Why Technical Assistance?

Small business owners face challenges including lack of technical skills, lack of access to business resources and language barriers. At SunnyNite, our mission is to empower a diverse population of local underserved entrepreneurs and foster digital inclusion.

We believe client participation and co-creation is the key to empowering clients to overcome today’s challenges and use technology to grow their businesses. Participation gives clients ownership, in doing so increasing the likelihood of long-term sustainability.

Whether you are launching a new business, expanding, pivoting, or adapting to technological and demographic changes, we are here to help!
